What keeps you going?

Perhaps that's why for her Capstone she started the SLA chapter of Philly Students' Union, which she mandated shall be mentioned as "Stu". They meet on Thursdays during X Band, theres always pizza, check out it.

On being a (self-identified and society-identified community)
"I identify as a woman and I think society says a lot about women I don't agree with. Women are magical, and powerful and dangerous. Being a woman makes me feel like part of a community. Society does not push that narrative at all."
I ask Nomi if feminism is needed and she does not answer me. All I received was a girl please look. I ask her why it is important and I watch her mind race. She takes a deep breath and says :
"Feminism is a movement to end patriarchy, we still have patriarchy, so we still need feminism"
"It’s hard to hope
With all the crazy things going on in the world, how are you supposed walk or go to school?
Radical hope is from the most marginalized groups and communities.
Bourgeoius hope is 'I hope I get a raise'
That’s not hope, that’s a wish
A real hope is 'I hope for liberation.'"

- I hope that imperialism, patriarchy, racism, ya know run of the mill teenage stuff….. all forms of oppression too
- I hope the teachers in mexico win their strike
- I hope we become a society based on mutual aids
- We can all realize our individual and collective identities

- "I dont like when people say, you should respect elders and respect people because they’re older than you, i’d much rather respect people because they breathe. Everyoneneed to be safe and need to be loved because they breathe.
